You must be at least 18 years old to use Fetch. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity conducted through your account will be considered your responsibility. Fetch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms.
3. Service Use
Fetch connects riders with drivers for transportation services. We act solely as a technology platform and are not responsible for the performance of independent drivers. Riders agree to provide accurate pick-up and drop-off details. Drivers agree to operate lawfully and maintain proper licensing, insurance, and vehicle safety.
4. Payments & Fees
Riders agree to pay fares displayed at the time of booking, which may vary depending on distance, demand, and applicable fees (including tolls and surcharges). Fetch may charge service fees, which are disclosed before booking. All payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
Riders may cancel a ride before it is confirmed. In some cases, cancellation fees may apply. Refunds, if applicable, will follow company policies communicated via the app.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to misuse the Services by engaging in fraud, harassment, unlawful activities, or endangering others. Drivers are prohibited from using unsafe vehicles, operating under the influence, or overcharging riders outside the app.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Fetch is not liable for delays, accidents, damages, or losses arising from transportation services provided by drivers. Our role is limited to facilitating connections between riders and drivers.
8. Privacy & Data
By using Fetch, you consent to the collection and use of personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Fetch constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
